Terms of Use

Magnificat Travel Gift Card Terms of Use Agreement:

• Magnificat Travel Gift Cards have no cash value and can be applied to any open Magnificat Travel journey. Be sure to check our website holytravels.org for future open journeys.

• The expiration date of the Magnificat Travel Gift Card is five years from original issuance. The expiration date is printed on the back of the card.

• The value of the Magnificat Travel Gift Card is equal to your total payments issued to Magnificat Travel less travel Insurance premiums and late fees.

• The Magnificat Travel Gift Card can be gifted, traded, or sold to another person.

• If the original traveler applies this Gift Card to a new pilgrimage departing within one year of the original date, had previously purchased travel insurance with Travelex, and has not filed a claim, we may be able to modify the travel dates and destination attached to your insurance premium to the new journey (one-time date/destination change allowed). If the premium for the new journey is higher, you will be billed for the difference; if less, your account will be credited for the difference.

• To register for a pilgrimage using a gift card, a cash deposit is required. The non-reimbursable price of a new insurance policy will also be due at registration. If the value of the gift card exceeds the new pilgrimage full price, including taxes and fees, the cash deposit paid at registration will be reimbursed when the pilgrimage departs. If there is a payment overage related to the Gift Card, the amount will be kept in the gift card for the remaining period of validity of the gift card. The original Gift Card will be re-issued with the remaining balance amount.

• If the pilgrim subsequently cancels the registration, the cash deposit paid will be treated as the non-reimbursable deposit in agreement with the cancellation policy as stated in Magnificat Travel’s Terms and Conditions. Any other refund due  in compliance with the Magnificat Travel Terms and Conditions will returned to the Gift Card and re-issued to the pilgrim. The expiration date of the Gift Card will not change from the original issue.
